What is "My Account?"

After your first purchase, the billing address and shipping addresses will be saved on file, so you can access them more easily next time. By default, the address that you have on file will be used for shipping/billing. You can add or modify the data on file by clicking on the "My Account" in the menu. No sensitive private information is saved or stored anywhere.

You may also view your Order History, Order Status, and Tracking Numbers and print a packing slip for returns.

How do I create an account?

Accounts are automatically created when you complete an order. Unless you filled out the online account form when placing the order, an account will be automatically created and a random generated User ID and Password will be emailed to you, to the email address you provide.

How do I edit my account information?

To change an address on file, you will have to chose "My Account" and edit the record there.

I forgot my password.

If you forgot your user ID and/or password, a form will be present to allow you provide your email address to which we will send you the login information.

What are my payment choices?

Bombastar.com accepts Credit Cards from Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, via industry security standard SSL encryption for real-time processing and fastest delivery.

A 'Bill Me' option is available, where the order is emailed and sent to the shopper for payment by CERTIFIED Check or Money Order via Postal Service. With this option, goods are shipped upon fund clearance (7-14 days).

Orders may be submitted via telephone, by calling or leaving a message at: 1-914-206-9606.

When will my credit card be charged?

Upon order, your credit card will be authorized and funds will be reserved until shipment. Only upon shipment will the funds be transferred.

What is my 3-digit Card Verification Number/CIC?

For your safety and security, BombaStar requires that you enter your card's verification number. The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the BACK of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.

Do I have to pay sales tax?

Only for orders shipped to New York. Clothing and accessories are subject to 8.625% sales tax; General merchandise 8.625%. (* - Starting June 1, 2003, tax exemption for clothing and accessories under $110 per item has been eliminated. BOO!)

I need a copy of my reciept/invoice.

You may obtain a copy of your order by visiting 'My Account' as described above.

I can't connect to secure server/no 'lock' icon at checkout page.

Occasionally, some browsers when connecting to our secure server may be prompted with warnings or be unable to establish a secure connection (no 'lock' icon at bottom of browser window). This is usually caused by not having the latest 'Root Certificate Authority List,' which can be downloaded for free at the browser's home page, ie. Microsoft. Downloading and installing this list gives you the most comprehensive and up-to-date browser security functionality.

In rare cases, a computer date and time error may cause the secure server issue. For more help, contact us.

How is shipping calculated?

Shipping charges are based on weight and USPS ship zones from our fulfillment center in NY and include fees for mandatory services such as delivery confirmation.

I want to ship to an address other than my credit card billing address.

For your protection, the home telephone number (landline, not cellular) of the credit card billing address must be provided at checkout for ALL orders requesting shipment to another address.

Bomba Star is not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses and will not refund or replace misdelivered items.

It is strongly advised that you call the customer service number on the back of your credit card and have the card issuing bank list your alternate "Ship To" address in the comments or notes section of your account. This is for your protection, as only you will be able to add this information to your account. This will prevent someone else from using your credit card to ship to an alternate address without your authorization.

In the interest of maintaining a safe shopping environment for our customers, any fraudulent activity will be reported to the FBI, local & state agencies and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

When will my order ship?

Orders are processed, packed and shipped from our warehouse in 3 to 7 days pending fund clearance or inventory availability.

When will my order arrive?

Total shipping time is the processing period (above), and transit time (once the carrier picks up your order from our warehouse and delivers it to your door) combined.

The time in which you receive your product after it has been shipped will vary based on level of delivery service you have selected. (You will receive a confirmation email when your package is shipped from our warehouse.)

Transit time for orders shippped via US Priority Mail is usually 2-4 days (within continental US) but may vary with package destination, particularly during peak periods. Transit times are provided by the carrier, and exclude weekends and holidays.

Because of heightened airline security, transit time may be longer.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, we ONLY ship to all of the United States and territories, APO/FPO addresses, and Canada. We are unable to ship internationally, but are working on it.

Please remember taxes and duties may be assessed by Canadian customs and are your responsibility.

What is the Return Policy?

Within 15 days of delivery of a shipment, you may return any of the following items you purchased from Bombastar.com, for any reason, for a full refund:

Any item in its original condition.
Any unopened, unworn, or unused items.

Just send an e-mail to returns@bombastar.com explaining the problem for a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#). Bomba Star will only accept returned merchandise with a valid RMA#. (We'll also refund the shipping cost IF and only if the return is a result of our error):

We can process returns and refunds only for items purchased online from Bombastar.com. We do not accept returns of:

Any item that is returned more than 15 days after delivery.
Any garment, clothing, accessory, or merchandise that has been opened (taken out of its packaging/plastic wrap if applicable), worn, used, or consumed.
Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged, or is missing parts.

Please do not send us items that do not meet the conditions listed above, as we do not issue refunds for nonqualifying items and cannot return the items to you.

We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received, inspected and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.

Shipping and handling charges applicable to the original order are not refundable - If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your refund. If you used a gift certificate to pay for all or part of an item you want to return, that part of your refund will be credited to your account for use on a future purchase. Please note, the original expiration date will still apply.

Should you return an order that was placed using a promotional certificate, you will not be refunded for the amount of the certificate, as these discounts were deducted from the original purchase amount. Any unexpired promotional funds used on the order would, however, be returned to your account for use toward future purchases.

How do I return my product?

You can pack and send your return to us in just a few simple steps:

Pack the items along with the Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA# - explained above) and packing slip (receipt) securely in a box (Order packing slips can be obtained by visiting your online account ('My Account') and viewing 'Order History.' You can use the box the items arrived in or another box, if you prefer. Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box.

How do I place an order?

When you see an item you like, click on "add to cart" and continue shopping until you are ready to complete your purchase. Then, click on "Shopping Cart" to confirm your items. After you have made any changes and updated the quantities as desired, click on "Checkout" to finish.

What if I want to place an order but do not have a credit card?

BombaStar.com also accepts CERTIFIED checks and money orders. If you do not have a credit card, follow the general instructions to place an order:

Click "Checkout" and enter the Buyer information. Make sure all of the required fields are completed. Please include an e-mail address and a telephone number so that we may contact you if necessary. At the bottom of the checkout form, select "BILL" as payment method.

Please make the certified check or money order for the amount of the order and the shipping charges payable to BOMBASTAR. PLEASE INCLUDE ORDER NUMBER on check or money order. Mail the check or money order along with a printed order form to:

How will I know that my order was accepted?

For credit card orders, a message will appear in a few moments showing the status of the transaction (Approved/Declined). An e-mail confirmation including an order number will be sent to the e-mail address which you entered on your order form.

For certified check/money orders, an e-mail confirmation including your order number will be sent to the e-mail address which you entered on your order form once funds are cleared.

How do I track my order?

Order Tracking information can be found by logging-in and visiting "My Account."

How do I cancel my order/item?

All orders may be cancelled before the order is shipped by emailing cancel@bombastar.com, using the contact form, or calling and leaving a message with Name, Order ID Number, Date of Order, Items Ordered, and Method of Payment. Orders that are cancelled after shipment must follow Returns procedure described above.
